New Game Plan - The First Serve
We are great believers in how business mirrors sport.
One of the major success factors for elite sportspeople is coaching.
In fact, the relationship - not just the skill - that develops between a top player and coach will often determine the overall success of the individual.
At Advantage One, we have drawn from the model of coaching in Sports to develop our own unique business model.
We are a team of professional people, experienced and dedicated to the business of accounting, taxation and financial planning.
Whilst that marriage of skills is not unique, the way we work with our clients is.
We first identify the type of relationship our clients want: what are their life goals, what are their expectations, what are their needs? Then we work in harmony with our clients on Wealth Creation or Wealth Preservation / Capital Growth, or both.
We are committed to the provision of Strategic Financial Coaching to ensure both wealth and lifestyle goals are achieved.
As well, we are an independently-owned company and proudly so.
As such, we are not beholden to tow the company line. Consequently, we feel the quality of our decision-making and therefore our recommendations is untainted, due to our independence.

What is Strategic Financial Coaching

"And how do you want to go about achieving it?"
These are the two key questions we ask our clients. We are not here to judge. We are here to coach our clients to an enduring, secure and strong financial position - the financial position that they have described for themselves.
So our job as coaches isn't to tell you where you should be going. Instead, it is to guide you toward that goal. We show you both strategies and tactics to employ as part of your success game plan. In coaching terms, we don't tell you where to stand on the court, but we do guide you in how to attack your goals.
We build a relationship with our clients. We take a long-term view of these relationships and through asking questions and listening we gain an understanding of what you want.
In simple terms, we're involved.
We are excited about our corporate re-badging (or some might say makeover) and look forward to catching up soon to explain in more detail.
